Pieter
van Dijk

Typographer & Type Designer — Rotterdam

I make typefaces, write about the ones nobody remembers, and teach the history of Dutch type to students who mostly want to learn Figma. Since 2012, Rotterdam. Before that, Den Haag. Before that, a small town near Groningen you've never heard of.

PVD Grotesk

Typeface — Released 2024

A grotesque with an industrial posture and an unexpected warmth at small sizes. Started as a study of 1930s Dutch commercial printing specimens, ended up somewhere of its own. Available in 6 weights plus italics.
